Course Overview

Early Childhood & Kindergarten

Our Early Childhood program provides your child with engaging, play-based learning opportunities to ensure they have foundational skills ready for Elementary School. By playing, inquiring, and working by themselves, and collaboratively with their peers, our Early Childhood students learn about themselves and also about our community. Our skilled Early Childhood team works together in partnership with parents to support each child’s development; academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Early Childhood classes at RAS are for children from 3 years old.

Elementary School

Our Elementary School students focus on key language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Numeracy is emphasized daily as students work to gain a balance between concepts and procedures while developing sound mathematical practices. All subjects are instructed with a student-centered approach of practical hands-on learning. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum.

Middle School

The fundamental idea behind middle school American education is educating the whole child to realize their goals and dreams. We use internationally recognized curricula designed to equip students to be successful today and prepared for tomorrow. We have the opportunity and challenge to embed learning outcomes, including communication skills, research skills, and problem-solving, into our curriculum at every level. Consequently, we model and give students the chance to grow in compassion, responsibility, integrity, and respect. Our faculty has been tasked to use formative and summative standards-based assessment techniques to have students demonstrate these attributes in meaningful ways so that students can apply and synthesize them. We endeavor to inspire students to pursue their passions and dreams.
