Entry Requirement for Foundation
(Duration: 1 Year)
• Minimum 5 subjects with Grade C for SPM / GCE O Level / IGCSE or any other equivalent qualification recognized by MQA
• Minimum 3 subjects with Grade B for Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
• English Requirement: English Credit for SPM / English D for GCE O Level / Grade C for IGCSE / Grade B for Senior Middle 3 (UEC) / Band 3 for MUET / IELTS score 5.0 / Grade 154 for Cambridge English or equivalent
Entry Requirement for Diploma
(Duration: 2 Years ~ 2 Years 4 months)
• Minimum 3 subjects with Grade C for SPM / GCE O-Level / IGCSE or any other equivalent qualification recognized by MQA
• Minimum 3 subjects with Grade B for Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
• Minimum 1 subject with Grade C (CGPA 2.00) for STPM
• Full Pass in 2 subjects for A Level
• English Requirement: No minimum English Requirement
*A Learning Assistance Sessions (LAS) (from Week 7 to Week 12) will be provided at no cost if the student failed the English Assessment in Week 4
Entry Requirements for Bachelor’s Degree
(Duration: 3 Years ~ 3 Years 6 months)
• Full Pass in 2 subjects for STPM or A Level
• Minimum 5 subjects with Grade B for Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
• English Requirement: English Credit for SPM / English D for GCE O Level / Grade C for IGCSE / Grade B for Senior Middle 3 (UEC) / Band 3 for MUET / IELTS score 5.0 / Grade 154 for Cambridge English or equivalent
Entry Requirements for Master’s Degree
(Duration: 1 Year ~ 2 Years – Full-time / 2 Years ~ 4 Years – Part-time)
• A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in related field within a minimum CGPA of 2.50
• A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and with relevant working experience or equivalent
• Other related qualifications equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) recognised by MQA
• English Requirement: IELTS score 6.0 / Band 4 for MUET / Grade of 169 for Cambridge English or equivalent
Entry Requirements for Doctor of Philosophy (PHD)
(Duration: 3 Years – Full-time / 4 Years ~ 8 Years – Part-time)
• A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate
• A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate and with relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment
• Other related qualifications equivalent to Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) recognised by MQA
• English Requirement: IELTS score 6.0 / Band 4 for MUET / Grade of 169 for Cambridge English or equivalent
Additional Requirements for Diploma & Bachelor’s Degree:
• Design programme: Pass Raffles University Portfolio Assessment and Interview
• Business programme: Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or equivalent qualifications
• IT & AI programme: Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent qualifications
• Computer Science programme: Credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics AND any one of the Science, Technology or Engineering at SPM level or equivalent qualifications
• Psychology programme: Credit in Mathematics and Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science / Applied Science AND a Pass in English at SPM level
• SPM student: Must Pass in both Malay and History subjects
*Malaysian student who did not meet RU English Requirement is required to take the Concurrent English Language Programme
Application Procedures
International applicants must submit their application at least 12 weeks (3 months) before each intake deadline. Additionally, applicants must complete a Meet & Greet Form at least two (2) weeks before their departure date. This is necessary as the Malaysian Immigration requires a representative from RU to be present to escort the applicant through the Immigration Checkpoint. Please note that applicants will not be allowed to pass through the Immigration Checkpoint if the college’s representative offer is absent.

• Single Entry Visa (SEV – For applicable country only)
• Airport Meet & Greet Form – Must submit two weeks before
