Entry Requirements for 2 year Advanced Diploma
• High school graduate certificate (completion of Year 12) or equivalent
• Grade 10 students from international high schools under Baccalaureate or O level curriculum, as well as students holding IGCSE or GED certificates could also be eligible for admissions (subject to transcript evaluation)
• 4 Subjects (except English subject) with 50% mark at Matriculation / Grade of D in IGCSE / Grade of C6 in GCE O-Level / Grade of ‘All Pass’ in GED
Entry Requirements for 3+0 Bachelor’s Degree (Psychology)
• GCE A-level: Full pass in 2 Subjects: Credit in Maths and Science and a pass in English subjects in GCE 0-level or its equivalent
• IELTS 5.5
Entry Requirements for Bachelor’s Degree (Top Up)
• Completion of Raffles Advanced Diploma or any relevant Diploma courses in Design
• Submission of Design / Visual Arts portfolio is required
• IELTS 5.5
Entry Requirements for Master’s Degree
• Completion of relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.5
• Submission of Business portfolio is required
• IELTS 6.0
English Language Requirements
Applicants will be deemed to have satisfied the English Language requirements if they can provide evidence that they meet one of the following criteria:
• TOEFL – minimum score of 500 (Paper-based) or 59-60 (Internet-based); or
• IELTS – minimum score of 5.0; or
• Pass the English Language Test from Raffles International College; or
• Prior study in schools where English is the medium of instruction; or
• International equivalent
• English requirement for Advanced Diploma: IELTS 4.5 for Design programs and IELTS 5.0 for Business programs
• Duolingo minimum score of 95 or above / IELTS minimum score of 5.5 or any equivalent
Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements are required to enrol in Raffles’ English Language Program (ELP) to improve their linguistic skills. Native English speakers are eligible for admission without submitting evidence of English language proficiency.
Application Procedures
The following procedures must be completed at least TWO months before intake date:
• Completed application form
• Bank transfer slip of Application fee and First Payment Upon Admission. Please note to state student’s name and study program clearly on payment slip
• Copy of transcripts and certificates (Both original language and English translation) (Name, Surname and Middle name must be the same as in the passport)
• English Proficiency Test Result (TOEFL, IELTS and etc)
• 12 x Passport size (4×6 cm) Photographs or in .JPG file (White background only)
• Copy of applicant’s passport (Every used page) with signature in blue ink
• A Certified Criminal Record Check (From the Criminal Record Bureau or police station) – For applicants who are from Middle East and Africa region
• Raffles International College Bangkok will issue a Letter of Acceptance and college documents for applicant to proceed visa application at Thai embassy in his/her home country
Note: The documents in item No.2 will only be issued when applicant submitted all above documents including Application fee and First Payment Upon Admission
• Applicant submits all documents for visa application at Thai embassy in his/her home country
Note: Non-Immigrant Visa Category “ED” is only valid for three months for the first time of application which can be renewed to 11 months in Thailand
Foreign students must do Re-Entry Visa if they plan to leave Thailand to other countries during their stay in Thailand, it does not matter for what reason, or to which country. If students did not apply for Re-Entry Visa before leaving Thailand, their Visa Category “ED” will be automatically cancelled, which students have to repeat the whole visa application process mentioned above again
