Entry Requirements for 2 year Advanced Diploma

• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Minimum completion of High School Year 10 with passing grades of at least 4 subjects (excluding English) or its equivalents such as;

• GCE-O Level scoring L1R4 credits for 1 English Language and 4 Relevant subjects with Minimum Grade “C6”
• IGCSE with Minimum Grade “D” for at least 4 subjects (excluding English)
• IGCSE English with Minimum Grade “C” for ‘English as Second Language’
• Or grade “D” for ‘English’ or ‘English – First Language’
• GED with Minimum Grade “PASS”
• IB – Year 1/2 with Minimum Grade “4”

• IELTS 5.5* or its equivalents such as;

• TOEFL* with minimum score of 550 (Paper-Based) or 70 (Internet Based)
• TOEIC* (Test of English for International Communication) with minimum score of 650
• GCE-O Level English with minimum grade “C6”
• 3 Years of High School studies conducted in English

*Note: IELTS/ TOEFL/ TOEIC or its equivalent test results are only valid within 2 years from the date the results are issued


• Students, who do not meet the minimum English requirements, must take English Placement Test at Raffles. Based on the test results, a student will either be exempted from the English courses, or required to enrolled into the Foundation and/or Advanced English courses

Application Procedures

• Submit the Application Form and Application Fee Payment, together with soft copies of the following documents:

• Applicant’s latest Educational Transcripts and Certificates (Original language and English translated)
• Course Syllabus and Portfolio (for design courses) for credit transfer application
• IELTS/ TOEFL/ TOEIC/ Other English Language Qualification
• Applicant’s Passport
• Parents’ Passport (for applicant who is below 18 years of age)
• Passport sized photo
• Resume (if applicant has working experience for more than one (1) year)
• Company reference letter (if any) to state job title/ position, duration of employment, and job responsibilities
• Application Fee Payment Receipt will be issued once student’s payment is credited into Raffles Bank Account
• Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be issued once assessment of student’s application is done, and the student is eligible for admission
• Upon issuance of LOA, Standard Student Contract is issued for student to sign
• Course Fee Invoice will be issued for student to make the 1st Instalment payment at least 1 month before the intake month
• Student’s Pass/ Visa Application will be processed for international applicant
