Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements for 6 months Diploma
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- IELTS 5.5* (or its equivalents)
- Completion of GCE-O Level with L1R4 credits – 1 English Language and 4 Relevant subjects (score C6 & above) or other qualifications such as:
- Minimum completion of High School Grade 10
- Or completion of IGCSE from international schools
- GCE-O Level students with L1R3 credits, will need to submit Portfolio & Personal Statement for evaluation on their eligibility into the Diploma studies
- Portfolio – Minimum submission of 5 pieces of artwork using any or a combination of the following media:
- Photographs / Videos
- Freehand drawings
- Paintings / Illustrations
- Collage / Mood Boards
- Arts and Crafts (In 2D or 3D format)
- Personal Statement – To submit 300 to 500 words, which reflects the portfolio submitted & the applicants’ interest in pursuing their choice of programme
- Portfolio – Minimum submission of 5 pieces of artwork using any or a combination of the following media:
- GCE-O Level students with L1R2 and L1R1 credits, will need to enrol for the Foundation Studies Certificate programme prior to admission into the Diploma courses
Entry Requirements for 18 months Advanced Diploma
- IELTS 6.0* (or its equivalents)
- Completion of Raffles Diploma
- For non-Raffles students – Completion of relevant Diploma/ Advanced Diploma studies
- Submission of Portfolios, Transcripts and Course syllabus are required for credit transfer assessment
Entry Requirements for 1 year Bachelor of Arts (Honours)
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- IELTS 6.5* (or its equivalents)
- Completion of relevant Advanced Diploma studies
- Submission of Portfolios, Transcripts and Course syllabus
Entry Requirements for 1 year Master of Arts
- Minimum Age: 20 years old
- IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum score of 5.5 across all skills)
Students with IELTS 5.5 (across all skills), are required to take 3 months HELP (Higher English Language Programme) at Raffles Singapore - Honours Degree 2.2 (or its international equivalent) for Lower Second Class Honours in relevant/ design related discipline
- Applicants, who do not meet the minimum Honours Degree 2:2 (or its equivalents) – Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in relevant industries or management role in design related fields; or professional certificates by accredited bodies; (and/or post-graduate in marketing – for Design Management)
- Portfolios in design related works (especially for Graphic Design and Interior Design applicants)
Entry Requirements for 1 year IGCSE
- Minimum Age: 15 years old
- IELTS 4.5* (or its equivalents)
- Minimum completion of High School Grade 9
English Requirements
- IELTS test result is only valid within 2 years from the date the results are issued*
- Students, who do not meet the minimum English requirements, are required to take English Placement Test (EPT) at Raffles
- Minimum EPT result equivalents to IELTS 3.5 is required
- Based on EPT result, a student could either be exempted from the English courses or enrolled into either 3 months Foundation English or 3 months Advanced English or 3 months HELP (Higher English Language Programme) courses at Raffles Singapore
- English courses cannot be taken concurrently with Foundation Studies Certificate, IGCSE, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Master Degree courses
