Singapore – She is young and influential with over 100,000 followers on her instagram page. Meet Andrea Chong, a fashion and lifestyle blogger who shared her experience as a blogger, fashion model and host of her entertainment show titled “The F Word” at Clicknetwork.tv with 21 Raffles Fashion Marketers at Raffles Singapore in February 2015.
The talk was part of a module for the Fashion Journalism discipline where Raffles Fashion Marketers were taught journalistic skills like conducting an interview. They have also gained interviewing skills from Raffles Creative Practitioner Harveen Kaur as she conducted an interview with Andrea. There were also opportunities to put their knowledge to the test by interviewing Andrea. The talk also enabled them to better understand how to create a fashion blog as part of their project.
“The session was beneficial as it provided my students with the essentials in setting up and maintaining a fashion blog. It also gave them an insight perspective on the fashion industry and its relationship with blogging. Through this session, I hope that they have gained a better idea on how to set up a fashion blog that may potentially make them successful one day.” said Harveen.
