Admission Requirements

  • Advanced diploma programmes (2 years): High school year 12 or equivalent.*
  • Bachelor degree programmes (3 years): High school year 12 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor degree programmes (1-year top-up): Relevant diploma.
  • Creative portfolio of at least 5 original pieces (optional)*

*RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) will be granted module exemption consideration.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis. For design courses, applicants must present their portfolios, transcripts and relevant documents during the interview. They may be advised to take up bridging modules if deemed necessary by our Programme Directors.
English Requirements

  • CBSE & ICSE with a minimum of 70% and above passing grade for the English Language, or
  • GCE ‘O’ Level with a minimum grade of C6 for English, or
  • TOEFL* – Minimum score of 550 (Paper-Based) or 213 (Computer-Based) or 79-80 (Internet Based) OR IELTS* – Minimum score of 6.0.

*Test results are only valid within 2 years from the date the results are issued.

Admission Procedures

Students are required to sit for a 90 minute objective based RMAT (Raffles Millennium Aptitude Test), which will cover the following areas:

  • English Proficiency
  • Mathematics (Grade 10 Level)
  • Creative Interpretation

Short-listed candidates from RMAT will be called for a studio test and interview.

The studio test will assess aptitude in the following areas: illustrations, colour mixing, proportions, drawings, visualisation, etc.

The interview will assess students’ inclination, understanding and knowledge on the chosen stream. This will be followed by submission of their respective portfolios.

  5. Registration fee of INR 5,000 plus 14% taxes, total of INR 5,700
