Admission Requirements

Applicants will be required to complete their GCE Advanced Level or IB Diploma or equivalent qualification.

* Raffles Colombo reserves the right to evaluate and consider applicants who do not meet the minimum entry requirements but demonstrates an ‘equivalent’ Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) entry level for admission.

English Requirements

Applicants will be required to attend an interview with our Programme Coordinator to demonstrate their creative abilities and proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Documents Required

  • Duly completed application form
  • 3 passport size photographs
  • Copy of Applicant’s Passport or English Translation of Birth Certificate
  • Copies of Applicant’s latest educational transcripts, certificates and Completion Letter
  • A relevant portfolio with at least 8 – 10 representative samples of your recent creative work reflecting the range of your creative skills in digital images, paintings, drawings, sketches or workbooks.

Note: An application fee would be payable upon admission.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants for Design courses will be required to submit a portfolio of creative works. Each portfolio can be submitted in the following formats:

  • paper
  • CD/DVD
  • website

Applicants can include the following:

  • drawing
  • painting
  • sculpture
  • photography
  • video
  • digital media

Application procedures

1) Applicants will be required to sit for an interview however design course applicants will have to submit their portfolios with the application.

2) International students applying for design courses can send their portfolio with the application.

3) A Letter of Acceptance will be sent to successful applicants with payment requirement details.
