SINGAPORE – With international students setting foot in unfamiliar foreign territories, community integration plays an essential role in helping them to adapt and familiarise with the surroundings. At Raffles Singapore, we welcomed our new January 2016 cohort of Designers, Entrepreneurs, Marketers and Psych with a week long Orientation for new students to explore the sight, sound, scent and taste of the metropolitan city of Singapore.
The orientation programme included places of interest such as National Design Centre, National Library, Art Science Museum, Gardens by the Bay and National Gallery of Singapore. The students were actively documenting their Orientation Experience by posting their photos onto their Instagram accounts with hashtags like #RafflesSG #successbydesign and #RafflesJanOrientation16. In appreciation of their enthusiasm, Raffles Singapore gave out a pair of passes to Universal Studios Singapore for the student with most liked photos!
All in all, the students had an enjoyable time exploring Singapore before embarking their studies at Raffles Singapore.
